Introduction
Excitement and anticipation was the name of the game at a foggy Guernsey airport as our Commonwealth athletes headed off for one of the most important fortnights of their lives. They left behind an appreciative group of youngsters some of whom now nurtured the ambition to one day follow in their footsteps.
